Pronina was hospitalized after being found with a gunshot wound at a residence near 290 West Williams Way on September 17, 2026. According to authorities, police were called to the home at approximately 4 p.m., where first responders discovered two people suffering from gunshot injuries.
Moab Police Chief Lex Bell said Pronina’s injuries were determined to be fatal. After medical professionals concluded that she would not survive, her organs were recovered for donation, allowing her final moments to bring hope and healing to others.
While her passing has left loved ones facing an unimaginable loss, her final act of generosity became a powerful reminder of the impact one life can continue to have even in the face of tragedy.
